How To Check for NEW POSTS since the last time YOU read the forum

There is a button that reads "Mark as Read". if you click that, it resets your forum (once you are logged in) and the next time you come back and login, all topics that have been added to are marked with a great big "NEW" sign next to the topic name. I find that easier than reading the 10 recent posts, because i might have already READ those posts, this shows me EACH time only what is NEW since *I* read the forum last.

On the Main Board the "diamond" shape will be lit up Blue if there is a category inside that has a new post. When you open the Main topic u will see the "new" sign by the subtopics that have new posts.

There is a way to also put the newest posts on the top if you have forgotten to "MARK AS READ" the last time you were here.

1. go to Profile button at the top
2. under "Modify Profile" choose "LOOK AND LAYOUT PREFERENCES"
3. Put a check mark in "SHOW MOST RECENT POSTS AT TOP"

This way, in every thread, the most recent post will show first.

You can also do this for your Private Messages.
